The light system for your upcoming event was designed to include the use of either an artificial smoke machine or bubble machine, these devices are optional. Although Sweet Sensations carries liability insurance, it is still necessary to obtain a clearance from management of the facility where your event will be held.
The artificial smoke machine is a safe and effective means of producing artificial smoke using FDA approved non-toxic, water-soluble fluid, with no unpleasant odor and no residue. Currently there are no hazards associated with the use of this machine, however, some modern fire detection systems will react to the presence of artificial smoke. To use the artificial smoke effect, it must be verified that such a detection system is absent or can be temporarily disabled. (NOTE: Do not attempt to override or defeat a fire detection system without the consent and assistance of the building superintendent and/or local fire marshal.)
The bubble machine is a safe and effective means of producing bubbles using FDA approved non-toxic, water-soluble fluid, with no unpleasant odor and no residue. There are certain hazards associated with the use of the bubble machine. These hazards consist of a wet and/or slippery floor. In order to protect Sweet Sensations and the facility, the DJ will decide when to use this machine.
Therefore, by signing this document, the client and management of the facility agree, that the designated disc jockey and/or William Snyder d/b/a Sweet Sensations will not be held liable for any damage or harm, to property or persons arising from the use of these machines, unless such is caused by gross or wanton negligence on the part of the disc jockey and/or William Snyder d/b/a Sweet Sensations.
